Falconry Experiences

Swinton Park Birds of Prey is not a centre open to casual visitors so any encounter is exclusive to you. Set in the stunning backdrop of Swinton Park, we offer as much hands on and interactive experiences as possible, with a large variety of owls, hawks and falcons.

We offer a wide range of encounters for those who are just wishing to try their hand at falconry to those that intend to own a bird of their own. We can cater very much to your requirements with experiences lasting from only half and hour up to five days long for those intending on pursuing falconry in the future.

All ages are welcome but under 12's need to have an accompanying adult with them (charged at a spectators fee).

Taster Experience - 30 minutes 

Hawk Walk - 1 hour

Owl Experiences - 1 hour

Half Day Falconry - 2 hours

Family Falconry Experience - 1 hour

Full Day Course - approximately 4 hours 

Hunting with Hawks - approximately 4 hours

Cream Tea and Falconry Display  30minute falconry & cream tea

Falconry Lunch  30minute falconry and two course lunch
